| While our site is under construction, we want you to be aware of our upcoming events. These are . . . Mid Week "Bible Study" Coffee is available at 10:15 am. The program begins at 10:30 am. We begin with prayer. We conclude our study at 11:50 am. Why do we conclude at such an odd time? We end by 11:50 am, so we can prepare for Holy Eucharist (or Noon Day Prayer) which takes place at 12 noon. We use the lectionary readings for each particular Wednesday. Healing prayer will also be a part of the liturgy, once a month or, as the need arises. Our celebrant or officiant will strive to conclude worship by 12:30 pm. Use this midweek faith opportunity to draw nearer to our Lord . Make it a time to renew friendships. Invite a friend or acquaintance to experience the faith life here at St. Francis. It is a wonderful time of fellowship, spiritual growth, prayer and worship. A Prayer attributed to St. Francis Lord, make us instruments of your peace. Where there is hatred, let us sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is discord, union; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy. Grant that we may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love. | Our parish office hours for July 11-25 will be: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 am until 1:30 pm. SPRINGBORO COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE CENTER (SCAC) The area Springboro churches are sponsoring a Rummage Sale on August 12-14, for the benefit of the SCAC. SCAC assists Springboro residents with emergency food, clothing and school supplies. Our parish needs volunteers for this very worthy event. We also will need parish volunteers to staff a church booth on these days. Please volunteer on the sheet in located in our Foyer / Narthex SCAC’s phone number is (937) 572-6488 |
